Monkey Brain–February 2023

The goal of this animation project was to learn how to lip sync audio into an animation. I leaned into my intrusive thoughts and created an animated short that represents my spiral into insanity, with a Joe Biden voice over. I used looping techniques, a zoom out, and slowly the animation style becomes more and more chaotic and loose. This project made me realize that play, experimentation, and looseness can help me put my ideas on the page, without hesitating or being a perfectionist.
