Fish n’ Clips–December 2023

The challenge of this project was to create a brand for a mundane product, and build the packaging for the product while making sustainability the sole focus of the brand. My group created a paperclip brand called Fish n’ Clips, with multi-functional packaging, made from recycled ocean plastics, that is meant to be reused and refilled with paperclips. Our main audience is school teachers, because they would display the packaging on their desk, and it could be used to teach children about climate change, supporting environmentally conscious brands, and reusing things. We decided that our packaging would be in the shape of a fish because we thought our audience would continue to reuse it if it was aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the packaging has a compartment where you can place your pens.We made a mockup of our design out of illustration board, cardstock, and a hemp net. I am overjoyed with how our project developed into a cohesive and well thought out brand. It was awesome to work with people who had different perspectives and ideas than mine, and it was only through our combined efforts that we created this brand.
